I’m at 130k miles now, and it’s still hanging in there. If you’re careful with it, it should last. Definitely consider changing your transmission fluid.

I tried two Fusions before buying mine, and they both had this problem where it would rev high before shifting from 2nd to 3rd, then lurch forward suddenly. I think it’s causing my CV axles to wear down since they’re now making a clicking noise when I shift gears.

I have a 2013 2.5L model. It has this issue where it takes a second longer to shift into 4th gear, and it sounds like the transmission might be having trouble. I got the fluid changed when I bought it at 135k miles, but now I’m at 160k, and I think I should change it again soon.
I just picked up a 2014 SE 2.5L with 140k on it. The car seems good so far, but I’m hoping the high mileage doesn’t give me issues down the road.
