How rare is the Mischievous Purple color on Mustangs? I have one, and honestly, I think it’s going to be almost as rare as Mystichrome. If you’ve got one, hold onto it and take good care of it.

That’s a beautiful color, especially when the sunlight hits it just right. Although, it looks like you might need a bit of brake cleaner.

Actually, it’s “brake” not “break.” And what you’re seeing is rust on the disc brake rotor, which comes off when you drive. No need to clean it.

Purple is definitely one of the rarest colors in the car world. Only a few manufacturers ever release it, and when they do, it’s always something special.

The Mischievous Purple was introduced in late 2022, and production ended a couple of months ago for the 2023 model. I tried to find data on how many were sold, but there’s nothing available yet.

I also recently picked up a ‘23 Ecoboost Premium in that color and came across this thread while looking for the same info. Hope we get some numbers soon

The Marti Report tracks that kind of info, but so far, they only go up to 2020. So, it might be a while before we get the stats.
