How Much Should You Expect to Pay for Fixing Minor Scratches on a Mustang?

How much should I expect to pay for fixing minor scratches on a Mustang What’s the cost for buffing out minor scratches and correcting the paint
I have a 2016 Mustang that needs some TLC. What’s the process to get the paint looking like new again I’ve got a few scratches and some areas that need attention, and I really want to bring back that black shine. There are lots of swirls and rock chips too

Honestly it can really vary depending on the service you choose

Got it I appreciate it man it’s definitely a work in progress for me. I wasn’t really into cars until I got this Mustang and wow the expenses are real. I’m trying to get the paint looking perfect first and then I’ll change the exhaust. That will make me happy haha. I plan on keeping the paint in good shape and using my bike as my daily ride instead of the Mustang but it’s just so fun to drive

Yeah I hear you about the costs. If you’re looking at paint correction, it usually starts at around $500 but can go higher based on who does it. For a full stage 2 correction, which you might need, I can’t see it being less than $1300 here in AZ

That sounds pricey but definitely useful info thanks for the heads up

I feel like learning how to handle these scratches myself would be a good skill so I’ll do some research on buffing them out. They’re bound to happen anyway. I want to get it done professionally first and maybe add a ceramic coating for protection. By the time I need to fix scratches, I’ll have some practice. Appreciate your help

Absolutely learning these skills can save you a ton of cash and keep your Mustang looking sharp. I take care of my '13 GT every fall and repair any paint damage before winter

That sounds like a solid plan I want to keep my car looking great too

You might want to check a few local shops for quotes it could range from $100 to $500

You should definitely get some quotes that will help you budget for it

I will for sure thanks for the tips
