I’ve got a 2013 EcoBoost with 135,000 miles on it, still running strong. No big problems—just replaced the valve cover and kept up with regular maintenance like oil and transmission fluid changes.
I’m curious… who else has racked up high mileage, especially on the 2013-2014 models?
I traded my 2014 Fusion 2.0 EcoBoost for a 2020 Nautilus 2.7 EcoBoost last December. It had 37,000 miles when I got it in 2017 and 183,000 when I let it go. No oil or coolant leaks and no major high-mileage issues. I did replace the flex plate at 152,000 miles.

I just had my flex plate replaced at 88,000 miles. That was not a fun job.
I had to push my shop to just go ahead and replace it. I didn’t want to keep coming back for endless diagnostics and smaller fixes. It cost a bit more upfront, but it solved everything and saved me a lot of headaches.

I was hoping it was just a turbo rattle, but no such luck. I stopped going to the local Ford dealer ages ago. I found a solid local mechanic who handled it in a few days.

Yeah, I stopped using Ford years ago too. They once quoted me over $2,200 to replace all the catalytic converters on my old Contour. Now, I stick with a trusted local shop unless it’s an emergency.
Mine’s at 160,000, but the transmission just went out. I never changed the fluid because I didn’t know I had to. Other than that, it’s been flawless. Working on getting a new transmission now—I love this Fusion and the EcoBoost engine.
2014 Energi model with 106,000 miles. Just routine maintenance so far—oil changes, tyres, and brakes. The only big fix was an oil seal gasket replacement.
