How does the 1982 Ford Mustang GT Hatchback stack up against newer models? I found one for $3500 that seems pretty clean with no mechanical issues. It’s been taken to car shows, but it does have 180,000 miles. Is this a fair price or a solid deal?
That sounds really awesome. I would definitely go for it
This car looks super clean
I love how sharp it looks, especially in brown with T-tops
I would totally get it for the nostalgia. My first car in college was an '82 GT that I bought myself. It had T-tops and a black body with red interior. I added black mesh 16-inch wheels and some upgrades to strengthen the floor pan since it was cracking. Just noticed that the air cleaner is missing the connectors on either side that link to the intake tubes running down into the front fenders
I might not know as much as others here, but even I can tell this looks like a good deal
Yeah, that’s what I thought, but I feel like there might be something I’m missing to make it such a good deal
$3500 for a clean, likely unmodified T-top car is a steal. If you pass this up, it would be a huge mistake
It’s definitely unique for sure
I’ve got a soft spot for the four-eyed foxes
I’d pay that for a good one with T-tops
If I had the space, I would definitely buy it. Fox bodies are so cool
