I’ve been hearing different opinions about winters here in South Georgia. Does it ever snow? How cold does it usually get, and how do you all prepare for the chilly weather?
It rarely snows here, but the temperature can dip below freezing sometimes. Usually, it’s just mild cold with a lot of humidity. Are you new to the area?
We had frost last year, but no snow. If you’re not used to the cold, a good jacket and some warm boots will do the trick.
I’ve lived here my whole life, and I can count on one hand the times we’ve seen snow. But the cold mornings are something to be ready for, especially if you’re out early.
