I’ve done that in my daughter’s 2016 car. Good LEDs have proper light patterns, longer distance visibility, cost less, and last longer than the high-output halogen bulbs.
Okay, so I figured it out. Went out with a headlamp, took my time, and played around with the bulb. I’m still not 100% sure, but I think only two of the notches were in correctly. After fiddling a bit, the pattern matches the other headlight. Now I’ll just have to do this again soon after messing with it so much.
