This happened to me before, but it usually disappears after a while. I notice it mostly when making sharp u-turns.

I had the same issue. In my case, the wiring between the wheel speed sensor and the car was loose. Replacing the wiring solved it.
@Sophia
I’m dealing with this now. My scanner showed an issue with the rear-right wheel speed sensor. I replaced it, but the lights are still on. I’m guessing I need to clear the codes with a scanner.

Same here.
Most of the time, it’s just the wheel speed sensors being wet or dirty. Parking safely and restarting the car usually clears it.
I had random warning lights too. Ended up being a wheel speed sensor. Got a replacement for $20 and installed it myself. The codes will tell you which sensor is bad.
Probably the wheel speed sensor.
I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the ABS sensor.
Yep, it was the sensor for me too.
I see this every day on my 2016 Fusion.
In my case, the passenger accidentally knocked some wires loose. Took it to the dealership, and they sorted it out.
I had the same issue. Took it to the dealership for service, and they fixed it.
This happened on my 2014 Fusion. Replaced the front-left wheel speed sensor based on the code, but it didn’t solve it. A wire in the sensor connector was broken. The shop replaced the connector, and it was fixed. You can have a place like AutoZone scan the code to figure out where to start.
I’ve seen this happen with high mileage or when something is plugged in, like an OBDII reader. It always clears after shutting off and waiting a minute before restarting.
A few years ago, we found a wire getting burned through. We covered it with tubing and heat shrink, and the problem hasn’t come back. It used to happen when turning left.
This happens to my wife’s car when leaving our steep driveway. Seems to be the only spot where it occurs.
- Could be the battery.
- Try turning off lane assist or use turn signals.
- Check the brake switch.
These are common causes.
