Drove 2000 miles round trip with 3 adults, 3 kids, 2 weenies, and an Aussie. Truck’s computer showed 7.5 mpg average—still need to check receipts to confirm.
That looks awesome! Was it cramped with 9 people in there? And did you ever feel like it was struggling for power? I’ve been dreaming about getting a new Godzilla, just curious how it feels in real-world driving.
@Jocelyn
Surprisingly comfy! My only complaint is no armrest in the middle. I might figure out a way to add one.

Had mine for a year and loved it, but we outgrew it. Never had power issues—it downshifts when needed, but that’s normal. Visibility is great, mirrors and cameras help a ton. Gas mileage isn’t great, but that’s expected with a big engine. Towing-wise, it’s solid, though my diesel gets better mpg when towing.
Love my 7.3. No diesel headaches, no crazy maintenance costs, and the mpg isn’t that much worse than my old '05 Cummins when towing.

Yeah, exactly. We had so many issues with RVs—both gas and diesel. They just sit too much and cause problems. Using our daily driver to tow has been a huge relief. Looked at Cummins, but between DEF and… well, the whole Fiat/Stellantis thing, the gas Super Duty won out.
@Emory
I work on big trucks all day at a Peterbilt dealer. Last thing I want is to deal with those issues in my free time too!
Taking mine on a 4600-mile trip next month. Hoping for smooth sailing!
Haha, for a second I thought you stole my pic! But mine’s a carbonized gray dually with a smaller Transcend.
Fort Wilderness?

Yep! It used to be great, but now Disney’s turning RV spots into cabins and messing with the bus system. If I had known, I would’ve rented a golf cart—it was a long walk to the front every day!
@Emory
Yeah, golf carts are the way to go. But prices keep going up—$75 a day now. Last year it was $67!
How did you squeeze that many people in the cab? Lol
