Kept it around 70 mph in Whisper mode and got really good efficiency.
My old M3 had better tech in some areas, and I hope Ford improves that. But when it comes to build quality, I don’t think Tesla will catch up anytime soon.

Oh, you’re in for a surprise…
How efficient was it at 70 mph?

Around 3.9-4.1 kWh if I remember right. Better than I expected.
What tech did the M3 have that the Mach-E doesn’t? Not talking about gas vs electric differences.

Mostly software stuff—response time, battery percentage in navigation, phone app, little things like that.
@West
Yeah, totally agree. The battery estimate in navigation is weird. I did a 7-hour drive to DC yesterday. Cold weather, high speeds—I get why it was off at first. But after two hours, you’d think it would adjust based on how I was driving. Had to do my own calculations, and they were more accurate.
What’s the color?

Glacier Grey.
How was the trip?

It went well. Got free charging in Columbia but stopped at a BP around 2 AM to charge and stretch on the way back.
Most interesting part? A German Shepherd with a broken chain around its neck wandered over to the charger.
Never tried Whisper mode… does it really help?

There’s a lot of debate about this. I think it depends on how you drive. If I’m in Unbridled mode, I drive more aggressively, so I don’t care about efficiency. On the highway, I usually use Whisper and drive more calmly.
I’m still new to the Mach-E, though. More experienced drivers might have better insight.
@West
Got it, makes sense.

We have both a Mach-E and a Highland M3 (and like them for different reasons), but I gotta tell you…

Can’t speak for the Highland M3, but I had to move the driver’s side window up and down just to get a proper seal.
