No weight, no towing, no mods… maybe a little aggressive driving… and I keep it at 75 mph on the highway.
Around town, I easily hit 3.0 mi/kWh in nice weather. On the freeway? 1.8 mi/kWh.
My 8-month average is 2.0 mi/kWh. ER only helps with power, not efficiency.
All these numbers make me feel great about my 2.5 mi/kWh average on my daily commute.
