Big Bend owners… does yours have Sport mode?

I have a 2024 Big Bend, and mine definitely has Sport mode. I use it all the time. You might want to check with the dealer.

Yeah, I have an appointment at the dealership tomorrow. Hopefully, they figure out what’s going on.

I have a Badlands and added Sport mode with ForScan. Makes a big difference in sand and snow.

Why didn’t Badlands come with it from the factory?

It gets Rock Crawl mode instead.

@Lauren
Doesn’t Wildtrak have both?

Wildtrak gets Baja mode, but no Rock Crawl.

This is so confusing lol. I think Badlands has Baja too?

Looks great! What size are the tires?

Looks like the same tires that come with the Sasquatch package. Probably 315/70R17 Goodyear M/Ts.

Thanks! Yeah, I’m still learning, but from what I’ve read, the Sinister Bronze package uses the same 35” tires as the Sasquatch package.

I have a Black Diamond, and mine has Sport, Eco, Normal, Slippery, Sand… might be one more, but those are the ones I remember.

You’ll probably go through all the trouble of getting Sport mode added and only use it a couple of times a year lol.

The all-caps in GOAT modes threw me off for a sec, but yeah, if it’s a Big Bend, it should have Sport mode. If yours is missing it, I’d take it back to the dealer and have them check. Might just need a software update.

Yeah, it’s brand new, only 100 miles on it. I’ll call the dealership and see what they say.

If you don’t want to wait on the dealer, you can add Sport mode yourself using ForScan and a laptop. Just need the right cable.

@Brody
I actually tried that. In ForScan, it already shows as enabled in the ABS module, but it’s not showing up in my GOAT modes. I even tried disabling and re-enabling it, still nothing. Weird thing is, when I added Rock Crawl mode, it worked instantly. Baja mode is also showing as enabled but isn’t appearing in the menu either. Kind of stuck at this point.

No worries, but let’s be real—how ‘sporty’ can a Bronco actually be? lol. Every time I drive mine, I think of that line from Futurama:

“She’s built like a steakhouse, but she handles like a bistro!”

@DolphGabbana
Hahaha!
