Every time I start up, my truck asks, “Do you want to use Sport mode again?” and I just keep hitting “OK.” Damn, I love driving my Flash. The power is unreal. Who cares if I’m getting like 0.5 miles per kWh?

Mine are holding up fine. A lot of people are just coming from cars and don’t know how to drive a truck properly. I treat every turn like I have a trailer hooked up. As long as you let it get straight before hammering it, you’ll be fine.

True, but Sport mode does burn through tires faster—especially with that crazy throttle response. Having passengers helps too… they’ll definitely complain if you launch at every light.

YES! It’s such a tiny thing, but so frustrating. Every other setting sticks, why not this one?

It’s a regulation thing. Default settings have to be validated for crash ratings and fuel economy. Ford actually had to issue a recall because they let off-road mode stick, and that disables stability control, which is considered a safety defect.
If they didn’t want us to drive it like this, they wouldn’t have made it this fast!

Exactly! It feels wrong to not drive it hard.
Sounds like this is just your life now… but hey, drive how you can afford to! Tires aren’t cheap, and just be mindful of people around you. No need to be that guy. Have fun though!
A speeding ticket cured my lead foot real quick.
Seeing red and blue flashing lights might slow you down a bit.
