Hey folks, sorry if this has been asked before. I’m thinking about getting a 2024 Lightning Flash that’s available at my local dealer. My garage is a tight fit, so I’d probably need to fold in the mirrors to get it in.
Before I contact the dealer, I figured I’d ask here…does the 2024 Flash come with power folding mirrors that you can activate from inside the cabin? And if it doesn’t, does anyone know which trim or package has this feature? Thanks!
Not on the Flash trim. You’ll find power folding mirrors on the Lariat.
I’ve got the same issue. I ended up getting the Flash, but now I have to roll down the driver’s side window and manually fold the mirror every time I pull into the garage. It’s starting to get old! I’ve looked into options for adding power mirrors, but so far, no luck. I’ve considered getting power trailer mirrors, but I’m not sure how they’ll look or if they’d even fit when folded.

At least it’s just your driver’s side! If I’m by myself, I have to roll down the passenger window and stretch over to fold it. If this truck wasn’t so great otherwise, I’d probably be a bit annoyed.

Yeah, but honestly, I knew what I was getting. If it had been a dealbreaker, I’d have stretched the budget for a Lariat instead of going with the Flash.

Same here. I really wanted one in Oxford white, but they didn’t have any nearby in the Lariat, and the extra cost made me hesitate.
There are some aftermarket options out there if you’re up for it. Here’s a link to a video about it.

Do you know if the XLT or Flash can take the Lariat’s power folding mirrors if we buy them from Ford? I know they’re pricey, but I’m curious if the wiring is already there.
I’ve got a 2023 XLT and would really love power folding mirrors.

I have a 2022 XLT and want the same! I haven’t looked into it too deeply yet, but this person managed to do it. There’s also some useful info in this thread.

Yep, I’m adding them to my 2023 XLT. They go for around $500-700 each on eBay. You’ll also need a harness, which boostedgreygoosedesigns sells, and you’ll need to update the ECU settings with FORScan. Lastly, you’ll need the right button piece for the door.
