I’m having a major problem with my 2019 Ford Escape. A couple of months ago, we got a warning for low key fob battery life, so we replaced the battery, but the warning never went away. We thought it might be a glitch until a few weeks ago when the car locked us out and wouldn’t start. We figured out how to manually start it, and it was fine for a while.
We replaced the key fob batteries again a few days ago, but this morning, even the manual start isn’t working. It’s like the key fob is completely broken, and now I can’t get to work.
What should I do? I’ve tried everything to get the car started or to fix the key fob, but nothing is working. Any advice on what steps to take next would be greatly appreciated!
